Nastel Makes List of “Visionaries” in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Application Performance Monitoring

Long Island’s Nastel Technologies has been positioned by Gartner in the “Visionaries” quadrant of the “Magic Quadrant for Application Performance Monitoring.”

The Magic Quadrant report evaluated criteria such as “ability to execute” and “completeness of vision” to establish leaders, challengers, visionaries and niche players in the Application Performance Monitoring industry. For the report, Gartner evaluated a total of nineteen vendors, placing Nastel in the “Visionaries” quadrant.

According to a Nastel press release issued last month, the company’s AutoPilot TransactionWorks™, an application performance management solution considered in the Magic Quadrant evaluation, “is the only product that provides auto-discovery and performance management of multi-tiered transactions from the application servers to the database to distributed middleware to the mainframe and back.”

Nastel will be demonstrating their offerings at IBM IMPACT 2010 that begins May 2 in Las Vegas.  Check out this video to learn more.
